The study day will provide attendees with theoretical knowledge for how to understand which molecular investigations are appropriate for your cases and how to interpret the results, across the major cellular pathology specialties.

TOPICS COVERED

Lectures are delivered by experts from all the major pathology specialties, including gynaecological, respiratory and soft tissue pathology. The speakers will use case examples to supplement their talks, and each year they provide additional material which helps to ensure attendees keep up to date with the latest research developments in the field. New for 2023, we are including a session focussed on making the most of the molecular toolkit, with talks exploring how to approach challenging cases, quality control and exciting new molecular techniques on the horizon. There will be some additional virtual talks made available in advance of the study day. Delegates will also be provided with a 'Basics of Molecular Pathology' guide.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The day is aimed at histopathologists (trainees, specialty doctors and consultants) but is also suitable for Biomedical Scientists who may want to learn more about the application and use of molecular pathology.

SPEAKERS
