The Royal College of Pathologists Research Medal in Haematology

The Research Medal in Haematology is made annually and is intended to recognise meritorious research by junior pathologists or clinical scientists in the field of haematology. This includes all the areas covered by the Intercollegiate Committee on Haematology (ICH). The work of the nominee must normally have been carried out in the UK or Irish Republic during the calendar year preceding the date of submissions and has been either published, accepted for publication or presented as a paper to a learned society.

Awarded to: 

The award is open to all junior Haematology pathologists or clinical scientists registered with the College for training purposes during the year the submitted paper was published.

Potential benefits to the public and patients
Impact on field
Contribution of the individual to the paper

Award:

A medal to be presented at the 2010 College AGM dinner. The winning paper will be published on the College website and in the College Bulletin.
