Individuals who satisfactorily complete specialist or speciality training in the UK will be entitled to receive a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) from GMC after recommendation by the relevant medical royal college. The Royal College of Pathologists is able to recommend the award of the CCT in the following specialties:

  • Chemical Pathology and Chemical Pathology (Metabolic Medicine)
  • Histopathology
  • Medical Microbiology and Virology, and Medical Microbiology and Virology/Infectious Diseases
