Member of the Working Group on Cancer Services
We are looking for a cellular pathologist with a broad knowledge base in cellular pathology reporting who is interested in clinical guideline development, information management and improving the standards of service delivery. We are very keen for the Working Group to be representative of colleagues from the whole spectrum of cellular pathological practice, from general hospital laboratories to specialist centres.

What does the role entail?
You will be responsible for coordinating, in conjunction with the members of the Working Group on Cancer Services, the writing of cancer datasets and tissue pathways and providing guidance to the College on cancer-related issues. You will also be expected to support and communicate promptly and efficiently with WGCS Chair, other WGCS members and Clinical Effectiveness staff and promote all aspects of the WGCS and cancer dataset and tissue pathway development.

What's the commitment?
You will need to attend the Working Group on Cancer Services meeting twice a year. You will also be expected to advise on the content of datasets and tissue pathways and review and comment on drafts of new and revised datasets and tissue pathways.
