1 October 2019

Voting is now open for the next College President.

In just over a year, in November 2020, Professor Jo Martin completes her term of office as President of the College. The application window for nominations for President-elect closed on 5 September 2019. There were three nominations received in total and a ballot has been opened. The voting window is open from Monday 30 September to 12 noon on Friday 18 October 2019.

All nominees were requested to submit a personal statement which provides the opportunity to communicate their vision for the College and their relevant experience in more detail. It is hoped that the statements will help members make an informed decision when casting their vote.

The personal statements of nominees can be viewed only by Fellows on the elect the next College President page (login required). The views expressed in the statements are the views of the candidate and not those of the College.

Members eligible to vote will receive the ballot email directly from Electoral Reform Services.

The result of the ballot will be reported to the College Trustee Board and we expect to publish it on the College website in November 2019. The term of office of the President elect is one year commencing at the Annual General Meeting in November 2019. The successful candidate’s presidency will start after the November 2020 Annual General Meeting for a three year term.

Please ensure you make your voice count by casting your vote.
