National Pathology Week competitions in 2016 highlighted animals in pathology and global public health, and we would like to thank everyone who participated. The quality of entries was exceptional and we are pleased to announce the winners and runners up as follows:

Art of Pathology competition

Over 18 category

Winner: Dr Katherine Iles – Foundation Year 1 Doctor, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Dr Iles’ mosaic was selected as the cover of the January Bulletin.

Runner up: Ealish Swift – 5th year medical student, University of Oxford

11-18 category
