This is a question and answer session for high school students to learn about the role of histopathologists and to demonstrate that opportunities are available to enter medical school as mature students.

Attendees will be given a brief introduction about entry requirements for medical school. We will then discuss how I did not achieve the required A level grades at school and the different entry route I took in order to train as a doctor. We will then discuss my current role as a Speciality Trainee in Histopathology and the role of the histopathologist in hospitals.
