This practical one-day programme is aimed at those who are intending to take the Fellowship examinations of The Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath). With an emphasis on interactivity and self-reflection, key learning outcomes for attendees will include:
- Exploring the differences between Egyptian and UK postgraduate pathology training programmes;
- Developing a greater understanding of the examination and performance standards that the RCPath is looking for, including feedback on the examination (common mistakes that candidates make);
- Getting the right guidance and support during your training – how the educational- supervisor-trainee/ mentor-mentee relationship should work;
- Assessing the quality of your own learning and development – identifying your strengths and weaknesses;
- Practical workplace-based assessment exercise;
- How to maximise the opportunities within your local training programmes to help you prepare for the FRCPath examination; and
· An introduction and overview of the RCPath International Trainee Support Scheme.

This course has been accredited by The Royal College of Pathologists and attendees may receive a maximum of 8 CPD/CME.
