This is a 2 day residential course delivered by the UK Anaerobe Reference Unit, Public Health Wales, Cardiff.

TOPICS COVERED

Lectures and practical sessions will refresh knowledge on the culturing, identification and clinical importance of anaerobes. It will provide the opportunity to learn from experts about the latest technologies and techniques.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Anyone working in clinical microbiology who may have to culture and identify anaerobes.

SPEAKERS

Scientists working at the UK Anaerobe Reference Unit (including Trefor Morris and Harriet Hughes) plus case studies presented by registrars at the University Hospital of Wales.
