Those holding office in the College contribute to this important work by providing professional leadership and contributing at a national level to the maintenance and development of pathology services and the quality of patient care. 

What does the role entail?

The Digital Histopathology Committee exists to advise the College on a wide range of digital histopathology matters in the UK. 

The role will provide expertise and leadership for the committee by:

  • Leading the committee and enabling it to fulfil its purpose.
  • Ensuring an effective relationship between the committee , the Digital Strategy Board, College Council; the committee and College staff; the committee and external stakeholders.
  • Acting as a spokesperson and College specialty representative as appropriate.

What is the commitment?

  • Attendance at two committee meetings per year
  • Co-ordination of matters relating to committee activities, including drafting reports
  • Reporting to the Digital Strategy Board as requested (Terms of Reference linked below)
  • Term of office: 3 years

  • You must be a Fellow of the College to be eligible to apply.
