Those holding office in the College contribute to this important work by providing professional leadership and contributing at a national level to the maintenance and development of pathology services and the quality of patient care.

 

What does the role entail?

The Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC) exists to advise Council on matters concerning histocompatibility and immunogenetics practice in the UK. Information about the SAC can be found on the College website here.

What is the commitment?

  • Attendance at two to three SAC meetings per year.
  • Support SAC activities by providing specialty-specific guidance, responding to consultations, and other tasks as agreed by the SAC.
  • Term of office: three years from the date of approval by College Council.

How do I apply?

  • You must be a Fellow of the College to be eligible to apply. 
  • If you meet the criteria and wish to apply, you must complete the nomination form by 5pm on Friday, 30 May 2025.
