Choosing Wisely UK has launched a second round of recommendations, a list of 53 treatments and procedures that are of little or no benefit to patients, including recommendations from the College.
The list of Choosing Wisely recommendations adds to the first campaign launched in 2016 which started out with a list of 40 recommendations.
The College will be involved in future Choosing Wisely consultation and encourages members to engage in conversations with patients and to suggest new topics for future recommendations. For more information please visit the College’s role in Choosing Wisely
