The College is very pleased  to announce that it has been awarded Investors in People (IIP)  accreditation.

The accreditation, We invest in people, is recognition that the College has put principles and practices in place to support its people. It is also acknowledgement that the College is leading and improving its workplace practices and that everyone understands how to use them to improve working life at the College.

Dr Mike Osborn, President of the College said:

`I am really delighted that the College has been awarded Investors in People status. It’s a fantastic achievement and a great testament to the people who make up the College staff. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen.’

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: 

`We’d like to congratulate The Royal College of Pathologists. Being accredited with We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation and places the College in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.'

The College’s IIP will accreditation last for three years. During this period the College will work with IIP to develop an action plan to help ensure that the College continually changes and improves working principles and practices.
