College members were among those named in the Queen’s New Year Honours for 2022 which are awarded to recognise the outstanding achievements of people across the United Kingdom. College Members were recognised for services to healthcare and scientific research particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
`The College members recognised in the new year’s honours list represent excellence in the practise of pathology. I would like to congratulate them for their exemplary work for the benefit of patients, which is even more remarkable for having taken place during the COVID-19 pandemic.'
