Pathology is central to patient care, yet healthcare is evolving rapidly. The College plays an important role in ensuring pathology remains visible, influential and properly supported. By stepping into leadership roles, members can help shape the future direction of the College, strengthen the voice of pathology across healthcare and represent the interests of colleagues and the wider profession.

We encourage members across all specialties, regions and career stages to consider standing. Whether your interests are in leadership, advocacy, education, governance or regional representation, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the College and the profession.

Eligibility criteria, full role descriptions and nomination information are available via the Civica election portal.

“I have always found my engagement with the College to be a way of contributing beyond my own specialty – working with colleagues across the profession, strengthening our collective voice and helping to shape the future of pathology.

Honorary Officer and Council roles offer members a real opportunity to influence priorities, represent colleagues and add value for the profession. I would encourage members from all specialties, regions and career stages to consider standing."

Professor Sarah Coupland
Registrar and President Elect
