Apply Now! An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Education Committee of WASPaLM to appoint new members

Pathology plays a central role in the process of disease detection, interpretation and definitive diagnosis. The World Association of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine (WASPaLM) was established in 1947 with the primary aim of improving population health by strengthening and promoting the teaching, research and practice of all aspects of pathology and laboratory medicine.

Anchored by The Royal College of Pathologists, the Education Committee is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all aspects of WASPaLM’s education, training, capacity-building and continuing medical education (CME) or professional development (CPD) activities and collaborations.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Education Committee to appoint new members. This important role will take action on behalf of WASPaLM’s Board of Directors and provides strategic advice to the Board as required as well as contributing to the Committees work and agenda. The appointment will be for a term of two years in the first instance, commencing January 2019.
