TOPICS COVERED

Numerous informative presentations on a range of topics devoted to CPOs, as well as a group discussion and feedback session.

There will be a highlight of the national epidemiology of CPOs and the developments of work from UKHSA since the previous 1-day forum in 2024; a presentation of the complex aspects involved in a CPO outbreak case study; presented results and conclusions from the national CRE-DITS study on carbapenem-resistant enterobacterales; the  consideration of CPOs outside the hospital setting; what modelling of CPOs can offer, and the role of genomics.
