The 62nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology promises to include a celebratory welcome back to face-to-face events, reflecting on 62 years of achievements in haematology whilst also looking forward to an exciting future.

TOPICS COVERED

The conference begins with the Pitfalls day which is an interactive day exploring all the common pitfalls in Haematology practice across the most popular topics. Across the three main days of the conference, attendees will be welcome to experience a full range of education from Meet the Expert sessions, industry symposia featuring the latest research and technology, roundtable sessions, oral abstract and poster presentations, and a diverse programme of well-rounded scientific sessions focussing on patients, the haematologists, scientific developments and the wider teams we work with. It is not one to be missed!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is suitable for haematologists at all levels of training from students and trainees up to consultants and senior doctors. There is also a nursing-focussed day in the programme on Sunday 3 April.

SPEAKERS

There will be a diverse range of UK speakers joining us live, and a range of overseas speakers who will be livestreamed into the sessions to ensure no viewpoint is missed. There will also be the BSH-favourite sessions of the Dacie Wilkinson Lecture, the MacFarlane-Biggs Lecture, and plenaries with our international counterparts, ASH and EHA.

The programme will focus on developing national and international partnerships which enables outstanding science to transform patient care. The event is also taking place online with a hybrid format, to allow colleagues from around the World to share in the discussions.
