This comprehensive course covers all aspects of cervical histopathology including HPV associated and HPV independent lesions, their mimics and correlation of colposcopy impression with pathology. The course includes a mock MDM session which offers an interactive learning experience for participants. The course contains a virtual tour of a histopathology laboratory, fulfilling the BSCCP training requirement to attend a pathology laboratory.

TOPICS COVERED

The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology and The British Association of Gynaecological Pathologists have put together this half day virtual course aimed at colposcopists, nurse colposcopists and early career pathologists. This comprehensive course covers all aspects of cervical histopathology including HPV associated and HPV independent lesions, their mimics and correlation of colposcopy impression with pathology. The course includes a mock MDM session which offers an interactive learning experience for participants. The course contains a virtual tour of a histopathology laboratory, fulfilling the BSCCP training requirement to attend a pathology laboratory. The course is eligible for up to 4 CPD points. Pre-course material provided to participants is eligible for up to 5 CPD points.
Participants will be issued with a certificate on completion.
All sessions will be moderated and there will be dedicated Q&A time for each topic.
