Overview

Tuesday 17 January 2023 1:00pm – 1.45pm: Implementation guidance for reporting of liver resection specimens (including gallbladder) and liver biopsies for primary and metastatic carcinoma with guideline authors Professor Robert Goldi, Dr Judy Wyatt and Dr Dina Tiniakos for the guideline published in September 2022 (Dataset for histopathological reporting liver resection specimens (including gallbladder) and liver biopsies for primary and metastatic carcinoma)

The Clinical Effectiveness Department is delivering an online learning programme to support pathologists with the implementation of new and revised clinical guidelines.

This initiative has been developed following discussion at the Working Group on Cancer Services and in response to survey findings from cellular pathologists. Members asked for more support with the implementation of our clinical guidelines, and opportunities to feedback on them to identify areas of improvement.

The Clinical Effectiveness team aims to deliver a webinar within three to five months after a new or revised dataset or tissue pathways is published.

Format

Each webinar will be presented by the guideline authors. The bite sized, 45 minute interactive programme will focus on areas that are important to the guideline user, with ample time for questions.

The webinars will be hosted using Zoom and will be recorded and available on the College website as a learning resource.
