A talk given by a senior medical student to College students interested in pursuing a career in medicine and biomedical sciences.

A 45-minute talk will be given, briefly covering the history and translational research of vaccines, focusing on how an understanding of microbiology and biotechnological advancements aid vaccine development. This will be followed by a 15-30-minute Q&A session with College students and four medical students.

The attendees will learn about the multidisciplinary effort of vaccine development and the impact of this process on global health.
