This is the third webinar in the Getting it right for the patient series. This time we will be focusing on POCT and DTCT. There will be an interactive discussion on the theme: What are the issues with POCT/DTCT for patient safety? Panel members include Angela Douglas (BIVDA), David Gaze (LabMed), Martin Myers (GIRFT), Annette Thomas (Former National POCT Clinical Lead, Wales) and David Wells (IBMS). The aim is to get the laboratory talking about all things patient safety related with POCT!

Virtual event with a number of expert speakersincluding a panellist debate where prior questions will have been submitted at registration. The event is three hours and online. A recording will be made of the individual talks (where permission is given) and the recording will only be given to participants who have registered for the webinar. The recording will not be made publicly available.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is aimed at everyone working in the laboratory. Though it is focused on POCT and DTCT general concepts of Getting it right for the patient will be discussed so all are welcome.
