Haematology and Intensive Care Medicine are two fastmoving
and exciting specialties dealing with some of the
most critically unwell patients in the hospital. There is a
huge crossover between these two specialist areas and as
both develop ever increasing ways of managing both
critically unwell and complex patients, an understanding
of how these two worlds interact is more important than
ever. This meeting aims to bring together speakers from
around the hospital to improve delegates understanding
of the interface between Haematology and Critical care.

There will be a series of talks and seminars looking at
both the haematology patient who becomes critically
unwell, and also the critically unwell patient who
develops a haematology problem.
