After attending, delegates will be able to:

  • Describe the relationship between the IPC Leader, the Board and external stakeholders, and how the IPC Leader can engage to effectively advocate for IPC.
  • Understand emotional intelligence and how it can help Leaders to develop their teams and collaborate with others.
  • Describe how behavioural science can be applied to IPC and AMR, using practical behaviour change theory to identify and address barriers.
  • Explain the psychological, social and environmental challenges that need to be overcome in delivering IPC.
  • Understand how to develop personal resilience and deal with demands as an IPC Leader.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Our IPC leadership development programme offers RCPath CPD approval one-day events that provide information, guidance and training around HCAIs and a chance to network with key IPC professionals. We welcome current or aspiring DIPCs and Deputy DIPCs, or those in a similar role irrespective of professional background.
