TOPICS COVERED

The HIS IPC Leaders' Programme consists of a series of six, independent, one-day events, which cover the current challenges faced by those working as IPC Leaders. The sessions are delivered by experts who share their practical experience in the form of lectures, workshops and interactive Q&A.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The HIS IPC Leaders’ Programme recognises that the professional background of IPC Leaders is varied, and includes medical consultants, nurses, non-clinical managers, clinical scientists, allied health professionals, or come from other backgrounds. These groups have different levels of management experience and understanding of healthcare-associated infection, and the programme aims to bridge the knowledge gaps between the various professional groups in order to promote effective IPC leadership.
Anyone can register to participate, but the course will be of most value to those who have act at a senior or managerial level in IPC, or who aspire to take on this role.
