We really want to promote the valuable and often unseen work that we do in Pathology by demonstrating what exactly we do and its relevance to patient care.

We have arranged an event in the Trust's public mezzanine area which will have display of posters, gruesome gallery, demonstrations of tests, microscope and slides as well as a Pathology themed cake & bake sale. We want to reach out to other healthcare professionals as well as to patient, their families and the public. We will also provide tours to our colleagues in the Trust.

We hope that the public, patients and staff have a better understanding of the importance of our work and the role we play in patient care.
