This is an introductory session and workshop for A-level Biology students at a local school, covering aspects of Histopathology and careers in Pathology.

Introductory talks on What Is Histopathology, short sessions on careers in Pathology both medical (delivered by me) and scientific (delivered by a Histopathology BMS), some interactive workshops covering H+E staining, matching slides up with pictures of tissues, interesting cases (role of Pathology in cancer diagnosis, case of an ovarian teratoma etc).

Introduction to Pathology as a scientific discipline and career. Linking of A-level cellular biology curriculum to histological interpretation and cancer diagnosis. Role of Pathology within medicine and the NHS.
