AL amyloidosis can be difficult to recognise, investigate and manage, particularly when renal and cardiac features overlap, or a monoclonal protein complicates the picture. Using a complex real-world case, the session will bring together haematology, renal, cardiology and nursing perspectives to show how MDT working can support timely investigation, diagnosis and treatment decisions. Speakers will discuss when to suspect amyloidosis, how to approach renal and cardiac involvement, common diagnostic challenges and the role of specialist services in supporting patients through treatment.
