Don Whitley Scientific work on behalf of the ARU to organise this annual course. The aim of the course is to promote an understanding and awareness of anaerobic bacteria in clinical material and to improve the standards of anaerobic microbiology in clinical laboratories.

TOPICS COVERED

The 2 day residential course is delivered by the UK Anaerobe Reference Unit and involves guest speakers within the clinical anaerobic field as well as two afternoons of practical workshops where the delegates learn best practice for collecting, growing and identifying a variety of anaerobes.
