It’s the second year of the Wessex & Gloucestershire Gastrointestinal Pathology Course! The event is a “continuation” of the very successful Gloucestershire Gastrointestinal Pathology Course (GGIPC), which ran for 17 years.

TOPICS COVERED

The programme includes the familiar “Bryan Warren Lectures” which will cover difficult issues in everyday biopsy reporting – within the appendix and in inflammatory bowel disease. There will also be talks on EUS-guided sampling of the gastrointestinal tract, digital pathology for GI reporting and an update on Bowel Cancer Screening Programme-related and colorectal cancer pathology. We are very pleased that Professor Rhonda Yantiss accepted our invitation to give the guest lecture on oesophageal pathology. There will be the familiar Questions and Answers session and, as always, the Quiz.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The course is suitable for consultants and trainees in histopathology and biomedical scientists involved in GI reporting.
