VTE together is an educational event in collaboration with the highly successful VTE Dublin team including panelled discussions from international experts on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and research in venous thromboembolism.

International speakers will present followed by panelled discussions on the following subjects:

  • VTE prevention - policy in action
  • Advances in VTE management
  • Advances and controversies in VTE prevention
  • Challenges in VTE diagnosis and management
  • Life after VTE
  • Women's health
  • In addition, expert authors from the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis in clinic series will present on 'Management of isolated DVT', 'Transitions in care and safe management of anticoagulation' and 'Optimising recovery after pulmonary embolism'.
  • There will also be networking opportunities during breaks and lunch to meet with international colleagues passionate about VTE.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

All nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, clinicians and those in training with an interest in venous thromboembolism.
