CPD information for course and event suppliers

The College approves local, regional, national and international educational activities for CPD purposes. This includes a wide range of virtual and face-to-face learning, such as conferences, webinars, seminars, workshops and other training activities. We also approve courses for CPD, delivered either online or in person.

CPD events

Event approval is the most common CPD recognition route. We define an event as a specific, timebound educational activity. This may range from a one-hour lecture or webinar to a week-long conference.

CPD courses

Courses are usually more substantial programmes delivered over a longer period. We define a course as a structured learning programme with clear aims and objectives, typically designed to be undertaken over the longer term.

Both events and courses must have a clear agenda, with defined aims and objectives or detailed learning outcomes. Please use this information to determine the appropriate approval pathway, and make sure that you use the correct approval form when applying for CPD approval.
