This document was withdrawn on 1 March 2012. The contents of this document will be incorporated into B 37: Investigation of blood cultures (for organisms other than Mycobacterium species).

B 30: Investigation of faecal specimens for enteric pathogens

This document was withdrawn on 27 May 2021 following the publication of UK SMI S7: gastroenteritis. This is in line with the UK SMI strategy and in agreement with the UK SMI Steering Committee that technical UK SMIs will be replaced with the relevant syndromic document as they are published.

B 47: Investigation of specimens for Legionella species

This document was recalled on 9 March 2012 due to an adjustment of reporting practice in England when testing patients for Legionella infection.
