Northern Ireland Regional Council Trainee Representative (Medical only)

Why should I apply?

Make a difference - work with the Northern Ireland Regional Council and other trainees, network with your peers, get involved with the College's work and support your professional development. Becoming a Trainee Representative on Regional Council will give applicants good awareness of national and regional issues within pathology.  

Eligibility

Any Member (must be pre-FRCPath Medic at ST3 trainee grade level or above) of the College whose address, as shown in the College Register, is in Northern Ireland.

What is the commitment?

  • Attendance at three meetings of the Northern Ireland Regional Council per year and the annual symposium in June.
  • Trainee representatives are expected to liaise with trainees in Northern Ireland via email to feedback and discuss relevant issues. They also liaise closely with the Trainee Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Pathologists.
  • This post is for a period of three years or until CCT is attained.
