Esther, a consultant histopathologist in Cwm Taf Health Board and Clinical Director of Pathology, has represented College fellows and members in Wales for three years as Chair of the Royal College of Pathologists' Wales Regional Council.
Esther is taking on the role as Academy Chair from Dr Paul Myres.
