‘I know that he will do a great job. He will represent the College across all our 17 specialties and will do this excellently.’

Dr Mike Osborn said:

‘I am honoured and delighted to be elected as President Elect for the College.

‘When I formally take up the role of President I want to champion the College’s core functions of advancing pathology practice and research, training, and improving the public perception of pathology.

‘The College is made up of diverse specialties and I am committed to representing members across all of these specialties. Working together as a united College will be vitally important as we move through the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. I will make sure the College voice is heard by government and other bodies. Ensuring we have the staffing levels we need across all pathology services will be one of my priorities, building on the excellent progress made by the current President, Professor Jo Martin.’
