This year we are launching Patient Safety Awareness Week on 17 September to mark World Patient Safety Day and to help raise awareness and increase engagement among members about patient safety!
Throughout this week we will be launching activities and resources to help our members recognise, improve and adopt a safer culture in the workplace, ultimately leading to better patient safety. We are celebrating patient safety week with the following interactive activities:
- Our infographic which focuses on the journey of a blood sample.
- Our essay competition. Enter to win £200 and claim CPD credits for sharing your experiences and helping your peers.
- Learn about the work of a patient engagement initiative to improve links between patients and pathologists around cancer diagnostics in Northern Ireland.
- Watch our podcasts and videos.
- Read our new patient safety bulletin published to mark the week.
