The Pathology Informatics committee have been liaising with the NHSE Pathology Messaging team regarding the need for professional input – see invitation information below.

Essentially, volunteers are being sought ot provide input into the development of emerging standards around FIHR and SNOMED-CT coding. Pathologists, scientists and pathology IT support staff should consider, especially given that these are the people who will need to engage with implementation within their own systems in the near future.
