This is your chance to celebrate the amazing work of pathology teams.

To celebrate excellence in pathology practice and promote high standards in pathology education, training and research to deliver the best patient care, the College (RCPath) has established the RCPath Achievement Awards.

TEAM AWARDS

The RCPath Achievement Awards celebrate excellence in pathology service provision through teamwork.

Four team awards will be given to teams who have achieved above and beyond what would be expected in their usual course of their work.

The awards will be presented to two members of the winning teams at the College Annual Dinner on Thursday 22 June 2023.

Professor Mike Osborn, President:

"Excellent healthcare is almost always the result of great teamwork.

The RCPath Achievement Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the hard work, innovation and enterprise of pathology teams. We will be awarding four RCPath Achievement Awards to teams who have achieved above and beyond what would be expected in their usual course of their work. This could be through quality improvement activities, setting up new services, innovation in reaching new patient groups, or in educating and training staff and students.

We had some fantastic winners last year and I am really looking forward to seeing the nominations this year."

The closing date for nominations is Monday 17 April. The awards will be presented to two members from the winning teams at the College's Annual Dinner on 22 June.
