Hybrid meeting, Double Tree Hilton, Bristol City Centre
Thursday 26th May 2022

Please join us in Bristol for The 24th Annual Spring Scientific Meeting. This meeting represents a superb opportunity to communicate with and to learn from colleagues working in the full range of infection-related disciplines. This will be our first hybrid meeting with both an in person and virtual component, allowing for both in-person networking and increased accessibility and flexibility provided by the virtual day.
We are very fortunate that the programme includes three distinguised invited speakers as well as an Associate members symposium, we look forward to welcoming you in Bristol.

Call for abstract submissions now open

We need you, the members, to be prepared to contribute through presenting your research, laboratory or clinical, and your clinical lessons.

The ideal presentations are those given by colleagues who are currently in post-graduate training, as they (you!) represent the future of infection research and practice in the UK.

That said, we are always happy to receive abstracts from anyone who would like to present, including principal researchers, consultants and non-clinical scientists. Where possible we would encourage consultants and lead researchers to consider asking more the junior members of their teams to deliver the presentation.

So please submit the best and most thought-provoking abstracts you can muster - the team at BIA will be very pleased to receive them.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is 5 pm, 25th March 2022. Please note that you will not receive any reminders before this date. Authors will be notified of acceptance by the 8th April 2022
