This event provides an overview of significant challenges in managing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including evolving guidance and scientific views on the methods of transmission, changing advice on the use of PPE, decontamination advice for medical devices and emergency hospital planning.

TOPICS COVERED

This is an online event which is divided into three themed sessions. Each session will include three 15 minute presentations and a 15 minute question and answer session.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

CSC events are designed to attract individuals from a wide variety of NHS and commercial backgrounds, who share a common interest in the decontamination of re-usable medical devices. This may include Infection Prevention & Control Doctors / DIPCs, Infection Prevention & Control Nurses / Healthcare Scientist, Sterile Services staff and individuals working for associated commercial companies.
