Three lectures covering sepsis and a military approach to biological and chemical injury including a presentation from a consultant working in Kerrytown with ebola patients.

TOPICS COVERED

Three clinical presentations from reserve members of the Royal army medical corp who are also medics in NHS. They will offer an insight into the military approach to sepsis as well as chemical and biological injuries. The presenters include a fellow from the royal college of pathologists who spent time in Sierra Leone during the ebola outbreak. Presentations will aim to highlight the principles of infection control, protective equipment, human factors and overcoming the fear attached to managing patients who pose a risk to their health care team.
