Join Prof. Bernhard Lämmle as he reviews the history of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), explains the pathophysiology of this disease, and discusses the development of current treatments.

  • Prof. Lämmle will give a 25 min talk on TTP, followed by a 15 min discussion and Q&A.
  • Despite tremendous progress and reduced mortality from acute TTP there are many issues remaining, including awareness, rapid diagnosis, standardisation of therapy, and long-term follow-up of patients. Prof. Lämmle will raise some key unresolved questions needing further research.

This webinar is aimed at consultants and trainees in haematology.
