Joint Committee on Genomics in Medicine
The Joint Committee on Genomics in Medicine (JCGM) was first established in 2001 as the Joint Committee on Medical Genetics. It is a joint committee of the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath), The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) and the British Society for Genetic Medicine (BSGM). The initiative to form this joint committee arose from a desire to be able to present a unified stance for genetics in medicine. The administration of the committee rotates between RCPath, RCP and BSGM.
