In view of the recent recommendations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the increasing need for members to be involved in running services and avoiding unnecessary travel, the College has made a decision to run all Committee meetings electronically via video conference for all meetings through to 30 June.
Committee Officers will be contacting Chairs and Committee members directly to provide more information about this.
If you have any questions, please contact the relevant Committee Officer for information.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all our members for all your efforts to ensure the best possible patient care.
Most of the work of the College is achieved through sub-committees of Council. Council sub-committees fall into two groups, namely committees and specialty advisory committees (SACs). They each meet twice a year.
Committees usually deal with generic matters crossing all pathology specialties, while SACs advise on specialty-specific matters such as cellular pathology and medical microbiology, etc.
The following pages contain information about our committees, such as members and minutes. Documents produced by and for these committees, such as specialty-specific or cross-specialty clinical guidance, can be found on our publications pages.
