We appreciate the support from the many College members who participate in Committee meetings for their specialty or other areas of interest. Please do look at our vacancies pages if you wish to join a committee.

Please note that most Committee meetings are taking place online as this allows more flexibility around attending. Committee meetings with in-person attendance also offer online participation.

If you have any questions, please contact the relevant Committee Officer for information.

Most of the work of the College is achieved through sub-committees of Council. Council sub-committees fall into two groups, namely committees and specialty advisory committees (SACs). They each meet twice a year.

Committees usually deal with generic matters crossing all pathology specialties, while SACs advise on specialty-specific matters such as cellular pathology and medical microbiology, etc.

The following pages contain information about our committees, such as members and minutes. Documents produced by and for these committees, such as specialty-specific or cross-specialty clinical guidance, can be found on our publications pages.
