  • Dr Gbadebo Adeleke

    Consultant Pathologist, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

    Dr Gbadebo Adeleke, MBBS, MSc (Molecular medicine), FRCPATH, is a consultant histopathologist at North Hampshire & Basingstoke Hospital.

    He is the pathology lead for appendiceal and peritoneal malignancies at the Peritoneal malignancy institute, Basingstoke. He has a special research interest in predicting outcomes and progression of pseudomyxoma peritonei and colorectal peritoneal metastases. 

    He is co-digital pathology lead in the implementation of digital pathology services across the trust.

  • Professor Adrian Bateman

    CHAIR

    Professor Adrian Bateman has been an NHS consultant histopathologist in Southampton since 1997 and has subspeciality interests mainly in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary-pancreatic pathology. He is Editor-in-Chief of Diagnostic Histopathology, the National Pathology Advisor to the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) and the Professional Clinical Advisor in Pathology for the BCSP in the south of England. He is also the Chair of the Royal College of Pathologists Specialty Advisory Committee in Cellular Pathology. He has published quite widely within his subspeciality areas and is the Lead Editor for the upcoming sixth edition of Morson and Dawson’s Gastrointestinal Pathology.
