Join the Limbic in collaboration with HaemSTAR as Tom Bullock, Interim Chief Scientific Officer at NHS Blood and Transplant, discusses transfusion for patients with SCD, services that NHSBT provides to assist with these challenges as well as what future collaborative work the NHSBT is doing to provide a better service to patients with SCD.

Dr Bullock will give a 25 min talk on transfusion for patients with SCD and the role of the NHSBT, followed by a 15 min Q&A session moderated by Dr Wolf.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This talk will be of particular interest to haematologists with a haemoglobinopathy specialist interest, and will provide insight for others to help better manage patients who may attend hospitals which are not specialist haemoglobinopathy coordinating centres.
