We would like to hear from new consultant pathologists and clinical scientists interested in joining the College's New Consultants Committee. This newly established committee is made up of new consultants representing all specialties, with representatives from across the College's regions, and exists to advise Council on matters concerning new consultants in the UK.
The Committee will work to promote engagement in College activities, and to develop events, training, publications and other resources to support new consultants both before appointment and during their first 5 years in post.

This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference, with a chance to inform debate on matters including the professional, clinical and continuing professional education functions relating to College members who are new consultants. It is also a chance for you to network with your peers, inform the work of the College and support your professional development.
