Digital cytology - views from the UK and USA 13th May 2021 (2-3pm UK time)
the BAC are delighted to announce the next webinar in their series which will be held on 13th May 2021 between 2-3pm UK Time.
This will cover the pros and cons of whole slide imaging in cytopathology, discuss the RCPath approach to digital pathology highlighting where cytology is different, and share some preliminary experience with the Hologic digital cytology system for screening cervical cytology LBC slides.
The speakers are Professor Liron Pantanowitz, Professor of Pathology and Director of Anatomical Pathology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, USA and Professor Darren Treanor Consultant Pathologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Both have a long interest in the use of digital system in cellular pathology, and have published widely on the topic. There will be time for Q and As.
