This two day meeting is intended to provide an overview of the implementation of digital pathology into diagnostic practice in histopathology, and an overview of current and future applications of digital pathology in the research and AI setting.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Day 1 – the day will provide an overview of the implementation and utility of digital pathology in diagnostic practice in histopathology in the UK, including considerations around training and histopathology trainees.
  • Day 2 - the day will provide an overview of the application of digital pathology and artificial intelligence in both the research and the diagnostic setting, and will provide an opportunity for delegates to have ‘hands-on’ experience of a digital pathology platform and in using annotation software. The day also includes a session on ‘working with industry’.

There will be opportunities for discussion during both days.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

The event is suitable for histopathology trainees and consultant histopathologists. It may also be of interest to biomedical scientists and researchers in the field of digital pathology.
